TITLE: A Bill to Add T Bus Routing Information

Whereas, the University of Tennessee employs the T Bus as a form of transportation for student use across the campus, and

Whereas, there are 4 different routes known as the “The Hill”, “Neyland,” “The Fort”, and “Late Nite” route, and

Whereas, each route operates at different intervals and times during the day and night such as;

1. “The Hill Route” operates on weekdays, 7:00AM-4:00PM at a frequency of 7 minutes and 4:00PM-6:00PM at a frequency of 10 minutes.

2. “Neyland” Route operates on weekdays, 7:00AM-4:00PM at a frequency of 8 minutes, 4:00PM-7:00PM at a frequency of 10 minutes, and 7:00PM-9:00PM at a frequency of 30 minutes.

3. “The Fort” Route operates on weekdays, 7:00AM-6:00PM at a frequency of 10 minutes

4. “Late Nite” Route operates on Sundays and Thursdays, 6:00PM-2:30AM at a frequency of 10-12 minutes and on Fridays and Saturdays, 6:00PM-3:30AM at a frequency of 10-12 minutes.

Whereas, there are 49 bus stops located across the University of Tennessee campus with only the name of the T Bus route that will stop there, and

Whereas, this information on the route times and operations can be found at parking.utk.edu but this information is nowhere to be found physically on any poster or boards near the bus stops, and

Be it hereby resolved, that the Parking and Transit services of the University of Tennessee attach material outlining the specific T Bus route and operation times for each specific bus stop, as well as information promoting the Rider app.
