Connor is a senior majoring in English with a minor in Political Science from Murfreesboro, TN. He has been involved with SGA, Greek life, Orientation, the Center for Leadership and Service, and serves as a UT Ambassador.

In her two years at UT, Katelyn has managed to become extremely involved throughout different facets of campus life. Prior to Student Services Director, Katelyn served in Student Senate for two years, as a residence hall senator and the Education, Health, and Human Sciences senator. In addition, Katelyn has served on an administrative committee on campus, she is a member of Phi Mu sorority, a staff writer for The Daily Beacon, has worked with both Unite and Ignite, and has done philanthropic work with both Special Spaces UT and Emerald Youth Foundation. Katelyn is extremely excited to take her variety of involvement to the next level as SSD. She hopes to increase student involvement, both on campus and within SS, create a wider variety of student events on campus, and increase awareness about the current issues on campus. “It is my hope that my variety of involvement on campus will allow me to better connect with the wide variety of students who call UT home!”
Chief of Staff

Daniel Richter is a young and hardworking student with everything to prove. He is a Business Analytics major, and is the self-appointed face of the UT Business Analytics program. As the newly appointed Chief of Staff, he is determined to take the Student Government Association by storm. As a stern and unyielding leader, Daniel will not really use these traits because his job does not really call for them.

Madison Kahl is a junior majoring in Biochemistry and Cellular and Molecular Biology with a minor in Business Administration from Knoxville, TN. Madison has been actively involved in Freshmen Council for the past two years as a member and an advisor. Aside from serving as Treasurer, she is an Orientation Leader, a director on the Panhellenic Council, a Leadership Knoxville Scholar, and a member of the Chancellor’s Honors Program.

Aside from serving as the City of Knoxville Liaison for SGA Exec, he is also the Secretary for the Issues Committee, Corresponding Secretary for the Central Program Council, and a Baker Ambassador at the Howard Baker Center for Public Policy, as well as a photographer for the Daily Beacon and a member of the UT Trombone Choir.

Graduate Student Senate President

Jess is a graduate student in the Department of Ecology & Evolutionary Biology and a Chancellor’s Honors Award recipient for her outstanding commitment to community service. As president of the Graduate Student Senate, she intends to focus her passion for outreach and social justice towards three goals: 1) increasing participation in and acknowledgement of the Graduate Student Senate, 2) increasing interdisciplinary interactions between graduate students, and 3) ensuring that the needs of graduate students are being met by the university.

Jonathan Jackson is a senior from Brentwood, TN. Studying Computer Science with a minor in Business Administration, Jonathan is actively involved in many aspects of SGA, including Director of the Technology Service Committee, many administrative committees, and served as a student senator for the College of Engineering for two years. Besides SGA, Jonathan serves as a 2014 Welcome Leader and a manager at Chick-fil-a.
