Technology

Description:

The Technology Services Committee is responsible for collecting student feedback about the various services provided by the Office of Information Technology (OIT) while working to raise awareness about the different hardware and software resources available to students. The committee also works with different technology vendors—including Microsoft and Cisco—to bring representatives to campus so that they can promote their products to students. Members work directly with the OIT management in order to influence future decisions that will affect all students. Some members selected for this committee may also have the opportunity to serve on the Technology Advisory Board, which is responsible for determining how the student technology fees should be spent. Events include the “Microsoft” event and yearly student surveys.

The flagship campus of the University of Tennessee System and partner in the Tennessee Transfer Pathway.
