UT: Get inVOLved with SGA

Happy Summer all! SGA would like to invite you to get involved with this year's SGA!
Be a part of Student Services - Student Services is composed of 9 committees that focus on the many different facets of university life. The committees coordinate and implement activities on campus and in the community. To find out more about each of the 9 committees and learn about some of their annual projects, visit the "Student Services" section of our site. All students are welcome choose a Student Services committee they wish to be a part of. Click on the "Online Applications" link to apply online. Apps are due September 11, 2009. For more info, email Student Services Director Jamie Lonie at sga3@utk.edu.
Apply for Student Senate - Student Senate is a group of 70+ students representing both academic colleges and campus residences. Throughout the year, Senate seats may open up if a senator is no longer able to represent their constituency. Any student can apply for open seats and the Senate Chair will host interviews during the school year. Click on the "Online Applications" link to apply online. For more info, email Senate Chair Sarah Patterson at sgasenate@utk.edu.
Freshman Council - Freshmen Council is comprised of 40 incoming members of the incoming class at the University of Tennessee. Freshmen Council was established as a forum to voice freshman opinions; to participate in student government and campus-wide activities; to inform freshmen of the operations of the SGA; and to communicate freshman concerns directly to the SGA. Freshman, apply for SGA!

Freshman, the 2009 SGA Executive Board would like to welcome you to the University of Tennessee! From the moment you step foot in Big Orange Country, you will be amazed at the numerous opportunities UT offers. This will become your home for the next few years and one of the most important things for you to do is get inVOLved and help eVOLve our campus into the best it can be! We challenge you to take advantage of your time at UT and help make an impact on our campus. Here are several ways you can get involved with SGA...
